Dr. Mimi Huynh
Dr Mimi Huynh completed her dental degree from The University of Melbourne. She has travelled all over Victoria to treat patients from a range of community centres, both local and remote. Mimi then continued her dental journey practicing as an associate dentist in the private sector for many years prior to founding Aqua Smiles Dental in Hoppers Crossing.
Mimi feels very much connected to the Western Suburbs and the people in the community as she has grown up here her whole life. After being on the Board of Directors of Western Chances for many years, Mimi has retired to focus on giving back to the dental community by mentoring final year dental graduates at the University of Melbourne. Involvement in the ediatric field has led to her research being published in the journal of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dentistry is truly Mimi’s passion, she routinely enjoys and confidently practices all facets of dentistry. Mimi is an active member of the Australian Dental Association and by investing significant time and effort in continued education, she is able to stay up-skill and stay in touch with the evolving dental field. Mimi is Australian trained in multiple services which include but are not limited to: Invisalign, early orthodontic intervention, orthodontic fixed braces and implant restorations.
Mimi is an extremely friendly, caring and gentle person who implements best practices and high standard of care. She treats patients of all ages and endeavors to make each dental visit a positive experience. Outside of dentistry, when she is not watching her beloved Essendon Bombers win, Mimi enjoys lazing around with her two precious cats, Fred and George.
