Lilian graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Dentistry/Master of Dentistry.

Lilian spent the last few years providing dental care all across Victoria including Melbourne, Wodonga and Ballarat. She enjoys getting to know people from all walks of life and ensures treatment and care is tailored to their individual needs. She values the importance of educating and equipping patients with the knowledge to improve and take control of their dental health. Lilian approaches every appointment with a friendly, compassionate and gentle nature and thoroughly enjoys working together with patients to achieve their treatment goals.

Outside of dentistry, Lilian enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to Pilates and trying new restaurants. She also loves to read and is particularly a fan of a classic whodunnit. Lilian is able to speak limited Chinese.

Yasmeen graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Dentistry and a Masters of Dentistry. She has gained broad experience working in multiple regional locations such as Wodonga, Ballarat and Geelong. Yasmeen has decided to come to Aqua Smiles Dental to support her local community achieve healthy and beautiful smiles.

Yasmeen’s aim in dentistry is to provide her patients with the most comfortable and rewarding dental experience. She values prioritising the needs of her patients to deliver the most appropriate treatment.

Yasmeen enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and her attention to detail ensures that her patients are receiving the highest quality of care. Her friendly and gentle manner allows her to connect with patients of all ages and, in particular children, so they can enjoy their dental visit. She is also determined to make even the most anxious of patients feel calm and at ease.

Outside of dentistry, Yasmeen likes to catch up with her family and friends, spend time with her cat and relax by reading a good book. She also enjoys exploring new restaurants and cuisines.

Yasmeen is bilingual and fluent in both English and Arabic.

Haydar graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Dental Surgery and undertook placement at a variety of clinics across metropolitan and regional Victoria before settling at Aqua Smiles Dental.

Haydar always aim to provide the highest standard of care to his patients by ensuring that they are comfortable and relaxed at all time. His friendly character allows him to understand his patients on a personal level, noting their specific concerns and addressing them appropriately using holistic based care and treatment planning.

Haydar is bilingual, fluent in both written and spoken English and Arabic.

Aside from being passionate about his clinical work, Haydar also enjoys playing the oud (traditional Arabic instrument), camping and fishing.

Cherry graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Dentistry and Masters of Dentistry. She has gained broad experience working in rural parts of Victoria, including Mildura, Ararat and Wodonga, before returning home to Melbourne.

Cherry is multilingual being fluent in French and Mandarin.

Cherry is known for her gentle, kind and compassionate chair-side manner. She is dedicated to helping patients with dental anxiety, by working together with them to overcome their fears. Her goal is to provide individualised care for every patient, and empower children and families to take control of their oral health, so that they can maintain a beautiful and healthy smile for life.

Cherry is passionate about giving back to the community and has been actively involved in many local and international dental projects. Over the years, she has volunteered for the Royal Flying Doctor’s Service and Monash Community Health, and has also participated in an overseas missionary trip to Vietnam.

Outside of dentistry, Cherry enjoys playing the piano, catching up with friends and spending time with her family.

Julian graduated as a dentist from the University of Melbourne, having received multiple awards in prosthodontics, dental materials science and dental biology. Also a Chancellor’s Scholar of the university, Julian is passionate about providing exceptional and comprehensive patient-centered care, with his primary aim to ensure every one of his patients achieves their dental goals and leaves the clinic with a huge smile on their face.

Julian’s friendly and easy-going personality allows patients to feel right at home in the dental chair. He is always eager to further his knowledge and expand his horizons in order to provide patients with the highest quality and most up to date care. He believes having a beautiful smile is contagious, and wants to ensure your smile will always be one you’re proud to share.

Outside of work, Julian enjoys playing sport, keeping fit in the gym, and spending time with his family and friends. He also loves to travel and explore new and exciting countries around the world.

BDSc (Melb) FICCDE (Ortho)

Dr Mimi Huynh completed her dental degree from The University of Melbourne. She has travelled all over Victoria to treat patients from a range of community centres, both local and remote. Mimi then continued her dental journey practicing as an associate dentist in the private sector for many years prior to founding Aqua Smiles Dental in Hoppers Crossing.

Mimi feels very much connected to the Western Suburbs and the people in the community as she has grown up here her whole life. After being on the Board of Directors of Western Chances for many years, Mimi has retired to focus on giving back to the dental community by mentoring final year dental graduates at the University of Melbourne. Involvement in the ediatric field has led to her research being published in the journal of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dentistry is truly Mimi’s passion, she routinely enjoys and confidently practices all facets of dentistry. Mimi is an active member of the Australian Dental Association and by investing significant time and effort in continued education, she is able to stay up-skill and stay in touch with the evolving dental field. Mimi is Australian trained in multiple services which include but are not limited to: Invisalign, early orthodontic intervention, orthodontic fixed braces and implant restorations.

Mimi is an extremely friendly, caring and gentle person who implements best practices and high standard of care. She treats patients of all ages and endeavors to make each dental visit a positive experience. Outside of dentistry, when she is not watching her beloved Essendon Bombers win, Mimi enjoys lazing around with her two precious cats, Fred and George.
